1. Pay attention to lubrication
Before injecting oil, please be sure to disconnect the power switch of the machine and unplug the power plug from the power socket.
Large electric pickaxes (such as Z1G-65 type) are equipped with oil tanks inside, so even without replenishing oil, if the daily operation time is 3-4 hours, they can still be used continuously for about 20 days. Before using the electric pickaxe, oil should be added according to the following method, or oil should be added promptly when there is obvious weakness in hammering.
When erecting the drilling rig, if no oil can be seen through the sight glass of the oil gauge (40 # lubricating oil can be used), it should be refueled and replenished in a timely manner. Before refueling, the attached wrench should be used to remove the fuel gauge, and great attention should be paid to prevent the loss of the rubber seal below. The oil level should be checked once a day to confirm if the oil level is sufficient.
Small electric pickaxes (such as Z1G-0810 type), with the same appearance as electric hammers, should be filled with 30 grams of lubricating oil for the hammer, not exceeding 30 grams. Excessive use may cause serious malfunctions in the entire machine; Adding too little can cause the whole machine to heat up and burn out internal components. Do not use automotive lubricants, bicycle chain oils, or other lubricants casually.
2. Maintenance of electric motors
The motor winding is the heart of the electric pickaxe, and it should be carefully inspected for damage and whether it has been wetted by oil or water.
3. Check the electric brush
Electric motor brushes are consumables, and once they wear to their limit, the motor may experience various malfunctions. If a self stopping electric brush is used, the motor will automatically stop rotating. Electric brushes should be kept clean regularly to ensure free sliding inside the brush holder.
